The goal in facilitating the round table each month is to foster
interdisciplinary conversations between designers, creative class citizens,
and business leaders of all kinds. Graphic, web, motion, interior, advertising, landscape, event, clothing, product, food, marketing, etc...
We each are part of the huge creative class that is growing in leaps and bounds. I believe the “design economy” is a reality. This effort is my part
to bring this notion to the forefront of the business community and drive a
greater respect for the design process and it’s contribution to the success
of business in Jacksonville.
I or a member will throw out a topic each month and provide a few links to insights and information on the selected topic. We will draw from heady topics like innovation, ethics, design leadership, creative intimacy, cultural trends,
collaboration and diversity...to more tactical subjects like, team building,
business evolution and designing a balanced life...who knows?
